We specialize in children's murals (custom, hand-painted murals for all ages), trompe l'oeil painting, color consultation, interior painting and decorative painting. PPD also builds custom kids' furniture, play structures and accents. Pied Piper Designs was featured on View From the Bay (May 29, 2008) for the incredible play structures and murals we designed and painted for Playdate Café in San Anselmo. Our murals and trompe l-oeil paintings can also be seen at the Moraga Library, Children's Hospital Oakland Speech/Language Center, Encore Gymnastics in Concord and several pediatric office waiting rooms from Fremont to San Rafael.

Jennifer Carden

Jennifer is a Chef, food stylist, and mother living in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has worked with some of the best cookbook authors in the business, including Jacques Pepin and Mollie Katzen. She has done live television food styling for Guy Fieri of Guys Big Bite. She has written and developed recipes and menus for restaurants and major food companies nationwide. In addition, Jennifer has contributed recipes to The Healthy Baby Workbook from Chronicle Books. Currently, she serves as a consultant for What's Cooking, a Bay Area cooking school for children and families. Jennifer's innovative ideas and humorous slant on feeding children have led her to develop books and products that help parents to feed their children healthy, quick, uncomplicated food.

San Rafael Mothers' Club

Being a mother can encompass joy, stress, wonder, frustration, awe and more. And like so many of life's best moments, the joy is sweeter and the stress is eased when shared with a friend. The San Rafael Mothers' Club (SRMC) was formed to provide a supportive community for mothers and mothers-to-be. We have come together to make new friends for ourselves, our partners and our children, to learn more successful parenting and to have fun along the way.

Our club offers regular social, recreational, and educational events for our members. We organize playgroups, offer services such as baby-sitting co-ops and "in-a-pinch".
